Hello from Mrs. Winter

Welcome to 2nd Grade! I am so excited to welcome you to a fantastic year. I have been fortunate enough to always be a "bulldog!" This will be my sixth year teaching 2nd grade at Whitfield Elementary. Previously, I taught Kindergarten at Cornwall Terrace, another Wilson School District elementary building (also where I student taught!). I feel incredibly blessed to be a teacher -- it is who I am to the core. I love teaching and look forward to everyday I get to spend with your child(ren). 

I have 2 degrees from Kutztown University and I am currently completing my third degree, a second masters in Reading and Instructional Coaching. I will graduate in May 2026. Go Golden Bears! 

I am born and raised in Berks County. My family consists of husband, Mr. Winter and our cat, Juniper. In my free time I am likely spending time with my niece and nephew, Ophelia and Elliott.
