Hi! My name is Mrs. Kerschner and I am the 7th grade learning support math teacher at Southern Middle School. This is my 23rd year teaching and my 5th year with Wilson School District. Prior to teaching at Wilson, I taught learning support for 18 years in the Exeter School District.
I graduated from Kutztown University in 2003 with a double Bachelor's in Elementary Education (k-6) and Special Education (pk-12). I completed my Master's in Special Education through Cabrini College in 2013.
When I am not in the classroom you can usually find me spending time with family and friends. I love to travel and camp. I especially love being in the woods, visiting state parks, or going to the beach. I am also an age group swimming coach and have been for 13 years. I am also a HUGE Green Bay Packers fan and I try to get to at least one game with my daughter, Katie, every year. Other than that, a large portion of my time is spent watching my kids play sports.
I have been married to my husband, Dave, for 21 years and we have three children. Grace graduated in 2025 and will be studying Graphic Design with a minor in studio art at Susquehanna University. She will also be running for their cross country and track team (Go Riverhawks!!). My daughter, Katie, is a Junior and plays varsity water polo and lacrosse and my son Eli is an 8th grader and also plays water polo and lacrosse.
