Reflecting on two decades in the classroom, I am struck by a simple truth: my students are the fuel that keeps my passion alive. Teaching is more than a profession to me; it is the joy of being a firsthand witness to growth. Nothing compares to the magic of seeing a student’s face light up when a complex concept finally clicks—it’s those moments of discovery that make every year just as exciting as my first.
Born and raised in the city of Reading, Pennsylvania, my entire education was on 13th Street. From Pre-K through Albright College, all on one street. I then had the honor of teaching students at the same place where I received my education, at 13th and Green. In 2019, I moved to the Wilson School District and have had the pleasure of teaching where my own children attend school.
Whether it's having a blast educating my students in the classroom or being a silly goof at an assembly for their entertainment, I love working with my students and look forward to seeing them every day!
