Green Valley Information
PARENTS,
PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!! The Green Valley Band will have the following rehearsals for the spring concert.
A dress rehearsal with the Band, Orchestra and Chorus will be held
**Thursday May 12 from 9:15am –11:30am. (School District Transportation will be provided for the dress rehearsal).
**Thursday May 12 Spring Concert in Wilson High School Aud. Report @6:30pm
concert begins 7:00pm. dress for the night time concert is as follows
Dress for the concert should be dress shirt or polo, khaki or cotton pants (of any color) no sneakers
dresses or dress pants and blouses (shirts) DRESS LIKE YOU ARE GOING TO A FANCY DINNER OR SPECIAL OCCASSION
The Band has a rotating weekly class time on Day 1. All students will need their instruments for this day, as well as their regular lesson day.
Please help keep your child on track by encouraging them to find a regular practice time in their schedule and ask about the assignments. They will also be given a book assignment each week along with the Band music. Thanks for your support of your child’s musical endeavors.
