Hello! I'm Miss Worley, or Miss W. This is my first year teaching and I'm so excited to be your Learning Support teacher! I grew up in Berks County and I am also a Wilson alum. Go Bulldogs! I completed my undergraduate studies locally at Alvernia University. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education in May 2024. I will be pursuing my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction this year as well! I am so eager to work with all of my students this year!
When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my friends and family, as well as my 4 dogs! I enjoy being outside and doing anything active, like hiking and biking. I also love spending my summers at the beach as much as possible! Another fun fact about me is that I danced for 8 years! In High School, I studied and performed several different styles. I had opportunities to dance competitively and be an Assistant Dance Teacher for various ages of students. In college, I danced on the Alvernia Dance Team and was a team captain. My favorite style is Hip-hop!

Throughout high school, I had multiple opportunities to work with children and help them grow! These experiences helped me to discover my love and dedication to serving others. Teaching is the outlet that allows me to do that, and make a meaningful impact on students' lives!
One of my goals is to instill curiosity, compassion and confidence in my students, empowering them to thrive with the genuine supports they need. I aim to exist in the moments where students discover their passions and overcome challenges. I recognize that what one student needs to succeed does not match what another student needs. Knowing this, I serve as an advocate for each of my students and their unique needs!
I believe learning should extend beyond merely acquiring knowledge. Giving my students the right tools to thrive in the 21st Century is super important! Some essential skills that my class will work on developing for efficiency are communication, collaboration, and creativity.
I am confident that embracing these principles will guide me to prepare my students to become active and engaged citizens in their communities!
