Meet the Teacher

Hello! My name is Kristen McNaughton and I teach sixth grade English Language Arts on the white team. This is my eighteenth year teaching in the Wilson School District.

I graduated from Penn State University in 2008, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Kindergarten Education. I also have a Master's degree in Reading from Kutztown University and am a certified reading specialist. 

I live in Sinking Spring with my husband, Adam, and my sons, Nathan and Cameron. In my spare time I enjoy reading, crafting, spending time with family and friends, and watching Penn State football games- Go Nittany Lions!!

I am excited to teach reading and writing, and I have so many awesome books to share with this year's students. It's going to be a great year!
