In this hybrid role, I support students' communication, language, and literacy skills in various, individualized ways:
For students who are identified as English Language Learners (ELLs), I support language acquisition for increased proficiency because their primary language is one other than English. This is considered regular education programming.
For students who are identified with a Speech/Language Impairment (SLI), I support communication skills that may be delayed or disordered. This is considered special education programming.
