All About Me

My name is Karie Braca! This is my 27th year teaching and my 7th year here at Spring Ridge. My undergraduate degree is from Salve Regina. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science as a dual major in Elementary and Special Education. I completed my graduate work at DePaul University and earned my master’s degree in Education with a concentration in Reading. Prior to Wilson, I taught in Connecticut (where I was born and raised), Lake Forest, Illinois, and Fishers, Indiana. 

My husband John and I live in town with our daughter, Lily. She is a ninth grader at the Hill School!  Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, especially my husband and Lily. I love to read, cook, travel, play tennis and ski. We have an  almost 4 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback named Zibu and we just love her!

This summer we went back to Greece and the beach! We also spent time with family and caught up friends! Most days, you'd catch us hanging out in our backyard at the pool and relaxing! I had a great summer!!
