If your child is absent from school due to illness, please call the office and let them know in the morning before 8:50. The day your child returns to school, please send a note (SEPARATE from the weekly communication log) for the office with your child’s name, date and reason for absence.

Throughout the year, your child may be assigned homework to practice a specific skill. It is expected that you are reading with your child for 10-20 minutes nightly. During the second half of the year, your child will receive guided reading books to read at home. Please count the time your child reads his/her guided reading books as a part of the 20 minutes.
