  • Ask yourself, "What do I do with graded assignments I need to keep? Where do I put my notes?
• KNOW the power of the Agenda Book/Planner/Google Calendar.
  • Ask yourself, "Where will I record upcoming homework/assignments/upcoming tests and quizzes?"
• KEEP an in-class Readers/Writers' Notebook.
  • Ask yourself, "Do I keep an accurate log of my reading? Am I taking notes when my teacher directs me to?"
• CARRY your independent reading novel with you.
  • Ask yourself, "Do I bring my book to class daily? Am I taking my book home to read?"
