October 24 - Senior Sunrise Event
From this year’s Florida Teens Read Pick 3 comes a day of adventure students will never forget! Our seniors read "Sunrise Nights" following our Foodie Adventure bookmark during English Class, afterwards they met on the football field to watch the sunrise while eating breakfast from our local Sunrise Bakery and took their senior panoramic yearbook photo then finished the day with a virtual visit with the author Jeff Zentner! They are now looking forward to our monthly senior events that will take them to our local bowling alley, enjoy a pancake breakfast in our culinary classroom, and a visit to a local buffet for a unique feast.
January 28 - Literacy Week Event
From this year’s Florida Teens Read Pick 3 comes a day of stars, 3D printing, games, poetry, mobile planetarium, NASA cryogenics presentation, and a customized menu for our students to experience thereby bringing these stories to life. Our Spring book experience spotlights the book “Star Splitter” by Matthew J. Kirby. The Choose Your Own Adventure bookmarks will have your students star-struck!
