Satellite Band

The Satellite High School Band is among the most diverse and successful programs in the State of Florida. Our program is comprised of the Marching Scorps which serves our community through public performance, the Concert Band which studies standard high-school repertoire, the Wind Ensemble which studies advanced high-school, collegiate, and professional repertoire, and our Chamber Winds which studies professional small ensemble repertoire as well as professional orchestral literature as part of our Symphonic Orchestra. All of our ensembles are superior-rated units that have prepared students for collegiate and professional opportunities directly out of high-school.

Band Camp 2023 will be split into a beginning of summer music camp and an end of summer drill camp. Both camps are REQUIRED to ensure a spot in the 2023 Halftime show. Students will not be considered for leadership positions if they have conflicts with the camps. Students that miss drill camp will begin the year as alternates.

Music Camp

Tuesday May 30^th - Friday June 2^nd 1pm-4pm (this is the same week as String Camp which is in the morning).

Drill Camp

July 24^th - 28^th 8am-11am and 1pm-4pm

The percussion section will continue to have rehearsals throughout the summer, exact schedule TBD.
