Adobe After Effects is a video and animation-based tool that’s used to add elements to moving pictures and animations. Most designers use it to create titles, intros, and transition between clips for more seamless video production.
Demonstration
Using a background, moving text, moving images, music, and lastly, inserting our name for an introductory project.
Using effects to put a transparent polygon onto a car's lights and having a radial gradient effect. We also used text effects to fit text into a specified zone using kerning and leading.
Using moving text and images to create a slogan for a business.
Learning how to use key points to move a circle. We used the Pen Tool to make the ball's bouncing animation look smoother and more realistic. We also added sounds in the background to match the background.
Using key points to have text move into the screen along with having an object or text spin/bounce too.
Using the Track Matte tool to have text look as if it is seemingly appearing out of nowhere. We did this on both the top and bottom of the line in between of the text to make it cross with each other.
Using positioned keyframes to zoom in on parts in an image used for credits.
Using the Pen Tool to create a route for a trip, then making it so that the pen lines appear after an image is traveling on the pen path. Lastly, star shapes appear and are scaled with a bouncy effect using keyframes once the line reaches it.
Using 3D layers to make text have Extrusion Depth, giving them a 3D look. Next, we had the text spin around on all axis, with a light layer giving the text and sphere a gradient.
Using 3D layers and modifying Extrusion Depth to existing images, changing the color of said image, then spin them around on all three axis.
Same as AE082, except an added camera that makes the Mountain Outfitters logo look like it's moving around.
Using the Warp Stabilizer Tool to keep a frame in focus, removing camera shakiness.
Using the Motion Tracking Tool to track a car and add a text bubble to follow it. We also made the motion tracking start after passing a pole and then ending after passing another pole.
Using Time keyframes to reverse clips and slow them down.
Using Time keyframes to freeze frames and then add an effect+title during the freeze.
Using Blend Modes to mix the opacity of layers to mix with eachother.
Using the Croma Key to remove the background, then having the background animated.
Using keyframes to have a mask progressively appear.
