Freedom 7 Technology

FREEDOM 7 Selected to Recieve the Digital Classroom Plan Grant!

Freedom 7 applied and was selected to receive the district level technology grant that included computers and training. We focused on grades K-2 because our 3-6 grades were already at a 1:1 student to computer ratio. With the 180 new computers and 6 charging carts Freedom 7 will now have a student to computer ratio of 1:1 in all grades K-6. The focus of our grant is Blended Learning which incorporates computer learning into the regular classroom experience on a regular basis. Along with this new teaching strategy our primary objective this year will be for students to have a greater role in developing their Digital Primary Years Programme Portfolio.
