Guided Reading: Group 1 will be working with me. We will be reviewing "wh-" and "-ing" and learning about -ed as we practice sliding through words to decode and spell them. We will review high frequency words from the book, "Buzz, Hum, Tap, What, Whiz, Ding-a-Ling".
Group 1 readers are: Sarah Vasilevskiy and Meir
Group 1 will be reading books on their level on RAZ-Kids. They will complete the writing assignment with Group 2.
Group 2 readers are Sara Levy, Moriyah, Nathan, Daniel Gutin, and Binyamin.
Writing/Grammar: We will continue learning what about telling sentences. After I read, "I Love My Hair!," by Natasha Tartly, we will begin brainstorm ideas for a writing piece about the things that make us unique or special.
Math: When presented with the whole and one part, we will find the missing part and write an addition (put-together) and a subtraction (take-apart) number sentence. Please have your counters available!
