Hi! My name is Chrissy Hough, and I am excited to serve as the 2025–2026 PTO President. While my husband, Tom, grew up in the South Hills, I grew up in Shaler and attended Marzolf longer ago than I care to admit. Tom and I first got involved with the PTO when our son, TJ, started Kindergarten. Since then, I’ve enjoyed serving as a homeroom mom, helping with events, coordinating as Events Chair, and organizing our Spirit Wear store.

Outside of PTO, you’ll often see us around town as TJ keeps us busy with activities—from Marzolf Dance to Bauerstown Baseball, Shaler Basketball to Cub Scouts, and plenty more in between. Being part of the PTO has been such a meaningful way to support our teachers and students while connecting with other families. I’m looking forward to a fun, successful year ahead and all that we can accomplish together!

Hi! My name is Jessica Jackson. This is my 3rd year as PTO Vice-President. I served as Homeroom Coordinator before becoming VP. My husband, Heyvis, and I have 2 girls. The oldest, Heyleigh, is going to 4th grade, and my youngest, Heyden, is starting Kindergarten (KC). I have been a part of the PTO since Heyleigh was in Kindergarten. My girls swim, play for Shaler Soccer, Dance at Marzolf, and attend Cub Scouts. Outside of the PTO, I teach at Butler High School, as well as helping with Shaler swim lessons and Marzolf Dance. I grew up in Shaler and enjoy being a part of this community. 

Hi! My name is Jess Brantner. I will be the PTO Secretary for the 2025-2026 school year. I joined PTO when my now second grader, Olivia, started Kindergarten here at Marzolf. My husband, Zack, and I were both born and raised in Shaler, as well as attended Marzolf. When not in school, Olivia loves her dance nights with Marzolf Dance, as well as playing baseball with her Bauerstown friends. But chances are, if the weather is nice, you will find us boating on the Allegheny River! I’m excited for my third year as a PTO member and looking forward to helping out any way I can! 

Hi! My name is Laura Grossman. I am the proud Mom of 4 kiddos, Charlie, Emily, Hannah, and Gabe.  I am also a dog mom to Mac. As you can imagine, I am always on the go between baseball, hockey, and dance with my little “gaggle of Grossmans,” but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Some of you may recognize me from Marzolf Dance, as this is also one of my passions, and I am eager to begin this dance season!
This year, I am also serving as Secretary-In-Training and look forward to learning how I can better support our amazing PTO. I am looking forward to this exciting school year and getting to know everyone!

My name is Emily Dinger, and this is my second year involved on the PTO board.  Last year, I was the Treasurer-in-Training, and this year I will be the active treasurer. I have two sons, JJ, who is in fourth grade at the Elementary School, and Jack, who is in first grade with Mrs. Anzevino.  My husband, Kurt, and I both grew up in the local area and moved to Shaler 12 years ago. I spend my days working as a Reading Specialist at Peebles Elementary and evenings attending many sporting events for my kids. We love to keep busy and spend time outdoors. I look forward to working with everyone and having a great school year ahead!

Hi all! My name is Jon Maielli, and this is my first year on the PTO board.  My wife Lisa and I have our son Connor, who is heading into 1st grade at Marzolf this year. Lisa and I both grew up in the same small town about an hour north of Shaler.  I have a part-time job as a personal driver for Connor, taking him to all his sports and activities!  I have an education background, but recently switched careers to work for a local distillery.  I’m really excited about being on the board this year and look forward to doing some great things for our kids and the teachers.
