Chrissy Hough, President

Hi! My name is Chrissy Hough, and I am excited to serve as the 2026–2027 PTO President. While my husband, Tom, grew up in the South Hills, I grew up in Shaler and attended Marzolf longer ago than I care to admit. Tom and I first got involved with the PTO when our son, TJ, started Kindergarten. Since then, I’ve enjoyed serving as a homeroom mom, helping with events, coordinating as Events Chair, and organizing our Spirit Wear store.

Outside of PTO, you’ll often see us around town as TJ keeps us busy with activities—from Marzolf Dance to Bauerstown Baseball, Shaler Basketball to Cub Scouts, and plenty more in between. Being part of the PTO has been such a meaningful way to support our teachers and students while connecting with other families. I’m looking forward to a fun, successful year ahead and all that we can accomplish together!

Maggie Watford, Vice President

Hi! My name is Maggie Watford. The past two years I was the PTO Fundraising Coordinator and I’m very excited to begin taking on the role as the PTO Vice President for the 26-27 school year. My husband, Fred, and I moved to Shaler in 2019. We are so grateful for the wonderful community Marzolf has been for our 3rd grader, Willa. She will never let us miss a school event so if you see us there, please say “Hi!” I look forward to a great school year and continuing to be part of this wonderful community! 

Laura Grossman, Secretary

Hi! My name is Laura Grossman. I am the proud Mom of 4 kiddos, Charlie, Emily, Hannah, and Gabe.  I am also a dog mom to Mac. As you can imagine, I am always on the go between baseball, hockey, and dance with my little “gaggle of Grossmans,” but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Some of you may recognize me from Marzolf Dance, as this is also one of my passions, and I am eager to begin this dance season!
This year, I am also serving as Secretary-In-Training and look forward to learning how I can better support our amazing PTO. I am looking forward to this exciting school year and getting to know everyone!

Jon Maielli, Treasurer

Hi all! My name is Jon Maielli, and this is my first year on the PTO board.  My wife Lisa and I have our son Connor, who is heading into 1st grade at Marzolf this year. Lisa and I both grew up in the same small town about an hour north of Shaler.  I have a part-time job as a personal driver for Connor, taking him to all his sports and activities!  I have an education background, but recently switched careers to work for a local distillery.  I’m really excited about being on the board this year and look forward to doing some great things for our kids and the teachers.  

Monica Ritchey, Fundraising

Hi! My name is Monica Ritchey and I’m excited to serve as the PTO Fundraising Coordinator for the 2026–2027 school year! This is my third year being involved with the PTO, having spent the past two years volunteering as a homeroom mom and classroom helper. This year, I’m looking forward to taking on a bigger role by spearheading our fundraising efforts to help support our students, teachers, and school community!

Jeff and I have two daughters- Gia (2nd grade) and Morgan (1st grade). Outside of school we have been enjoying our Girl Scout troop, lacrosse, soccer, and plenty of other adventures! As a family we love traveling, spending time at the beach and making memories together.

You’ll often find me volunteering at school events, so if you see me, please come say hi! I love connecting with other Marzolf families and look forward to another fabulous year!

I’m Lisa and I have a son, Connor in 2A this year! I grew up looking forward to the Book Fairs at school each year so I’m thrilled to help plan our fall and spring fairs here at Marzolf! In my spare time when I’m not in mom-mode I love a yap with friends, a good book and a crispy Diet Coke!  

Danielle Griffith, Book Fair

Hi! I’m Danielle Griffith, mom to Zoey(4th) and Serena(2nd), and I have been involved with our school and PTO since my children started school. I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer as both a Homeroom Helper and Homeroom Parent, and this year I’m excited to take on a of new role as the Home Room Coordinator in Training. You will also see me a lot during bookfair times.

I work as a preschool teacher in the mornings. When I’m not working or volunteering at school, you can usually find me running my girls to their activities, attempting to keep our family organized, or spending time with my husband and girls.

I really enjoy being part of the PTO because it gives me a chance to be involved in my girls’ school while helping create fun experiences and memories for all of our students. I’m looking forward to another great school year, getting to know more of our families, and continuing to find new ways to help our school community!
