All Submissions Requirements

Email your submission to shakopeelitmag@gmail.com

Make sure the email has the TITLE, MEDIUM, and NAME of the submission.

If you choose not to disclose your name, write ANONYMOUS in place of your name.

If you are a Senior and want to be acknowledged in a highlights section include that you are a Senior.

If your submission is a piece of writing, email it as an editable Google Doc. Do not email your writing submission as a PDF file or Acrobat file. If your submission is an art piece, email it as a photo, a JPG, JPEG, or a PNG.

If your submission is a video or song, it can't be more than 5GB because it will be posted on our website. Email it as an MP3, MP4, or MPE4.

Things to keep in mind:

This is not a competition! It's a gallery for Shakopee's art.
You can submit more than one thing.
Not every submission will fit in the physical Lit Magazine. However, every contributor will have at least one piece in the book. Surplus might be in our website in the "Catalog" tab!
