Welcome to second grade at Sacred Heart School! My name is Mrs. Congleton and I am excited to be your child’s teacher next school year. Below you will find assigned summer work as well as important dates and information. 

Summer Work: All assignments are worth a test grade each. The online math assignment will be monitored.

* Reading

   - Students are expected to read The Whisper in the Ruins (Chime Travelers) by Lisa Hendey. Students will complete a book review on this story.

  - Students are expected to read one book from the recommended book list. Students will complete a Cereal Box book report on the chosen book.

* Math

- Students should login and complete 30 minutes (240 minutes total) a week of First in Math work. 

Dates

9/6: First day of school with a 12pm dismissal (snack needed) School supplies are due

9/7: First Full day (lunch and snack needed)

9/8: Summer assignments are due
