LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION
To request a Teacher Letter of Recommendation, schedule a meeting with your teacher at least four weeks in advance. Then, add your teacher as a Recommender on Naviance.
To request a Counselor Letter of Recommendation (aka Secondary School Report), complete the Counselor Letter of Recommendation Questionnaire. Your School Counselor will schedule a meeting with you after it is completed.

PRACTICE TESTS: PRE-ACT & PSAT
Students may take the PSAT on the CSArts-SGV campus in October, 2025. Sign up for the PSAT here: myschoolbucks.
Students may take the unofficial Practice SAT and Practice ACT online via Revolution Prep.
COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAMS: ACT & SAT
Please note, UCs and CSUs no longer accept the ACT or SAT. If the private or out-of-state college you are applying to requires the SAT or ACT, you may register for the official exam on their official testing websites: College Board & ACT

ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP) EXAMS
CSArts-SGV counselors recommend that students take the AP exam(s) that corresponds with the advanced placement (AP) course(s) they complete in a given year (May).
