Welcome to C.A.L.M Spaces, an application operated by the Holistic Wellbeing Unit at SGT University ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information, safeguarding your privacy, and providing a secure environment for mental wellness support.

Interaction and Usage Information: Records of in-app communications, participation in community forums, and your access to educational or support resources within the application.
Device and Technical Information: Standard diagnostic data such as device type, operating system version, and general usage analytics necessary to maintain app stability.
The C.A.L.M Spaces application may request access to limited location information, subject to your explicit consent, strictly for safety and service-related purposes.
Nature of Location Data Collected: Only approximate location information (such as city-level or campus-level location) may be accessed. The App does not collect precise GPS coordinates, conduct real-time location tracking, or access background location data.

Support emergency response and crisis intervention where there is an immediate concern for student safety.
Determine your proximity to the SGT University campus to appropriately direct you to on-campus wellbeing resources.
Usage and Retention: Location data is accessed only when necessary for the purposes stated above. It is not continuously monitored, stored for profiling, or retained beyond the duration required to address a specific safety or service need.
User Control: Granting location access is entirely optional. Users may enable or disable location permissions at any time through their device settings. Refusal to grant location access will not limit your ability to use the core wellbeing services of the application.
Data Protection: Any location information accessed is protected using the highest security and confidentiality standards and is never shared with third parties, except where legally required or necessary to prevent imminent harm.
In addition to optional location access, the App may request the following standard Android permissions to function:
Storage / File Access: To allow you to securely select and upload documents (via the Android system file picker) for verification or interaction with experts. We only access the specific files you choose to upload.
Internet and Network State Access: Required for authentication, secure data synchronization, and accessing real-time support services.

Peer Listeners and Trainers: These individuals provide essential support without access to users’ real identities or complete student profiles, ensuring a safe, stigma-free environment.
Licensed Psychologists: Only authorized and qualified professionals affiliated with the C.A.L.M Spaces – Holistic Wellbeing Unit at SGT University may access identifiable user information. This access is strictly limited to clinical assessments, safety interventions, and providing professional support.
Data Localization: All personal, health-related, and interaction data is stored securely on servers managed by the C.A.L.M Spaces – Holistic Wellbeing Unit at SGT University, utilizing a dedicated, secure Supabase infrastructure.
Security Measures: We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and encryption safeguards to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration during transmission and storage.
