Stephanie Gould LICSW MPH is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and holds a Masters in Public Health from Boston University. She has over 10 years of experience working with adults, teens, and couples in a holistic manner that focuses on empowering clients to care for themselves and achieve their goals.
As a Public Health Social Worker, Stephanie takes a whole-body approach to both physical and mental health to prevent and address challenges. Her multidisciplinary background helps her encourage clients to gain perspective while exploring the role cultural and social factors may play. With a focus on wellness in women across the lifespan, Stephanie works with clients to prioritize self-care, discover an empowered sense of Self, cultivate healthy relationships, accept difficult realities, and challenge themselves towards positive change.
Stephanie uses a combination of different therapeutic modalities to create an experience that resonates with clients and adapts to their unique needs. Stephanie uses elements from CBT, DBT, mindful awareness, psychodynamic therapy, feminist theory, person-in-environment perspective, empowerment-focused, and strengths-based modalities. She is Level 1 trained in IFS (more information on IFS can be found here: https://ifs-institute.com) and has also completed the IFIO Level 2 training (IFS with couples).
