My name is Bob Bellamy and I am the middle school religion teacher.

Here's a little more about me:

I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan and then went to college in Dallas, Texas. While there, I met a Kirkwood girl (from the OTHER Kirkwood school). We got married in 2010 and came to St. Louis. I started teaching in 2009, for a year in Texas. Then, I spent 11 years at Immaculate Conception-Dardenne while getting my M.A. from SLU. I came to SGM in 2021. My wife and I have a son, David, who attends SGM. At home, we have a pet cat named Louis and a pet snake named Daisy. At school, I have a pet tarantula named Dahlia.

WHY I AM IN CATHOLIC EDUCATION?

I teach at a Catholic school because a faith-based education allows students to grow and develop as a whole person made in God's image and likeness.

A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS: Reading, baseball, hiking, exploring nature, the Botanical Gardens, traveling, cooking, going to the Indy 500, and watching good comedy!
