Economic is not the story of money, but a social science concerned with the production, distribution and consumption of goods and services. The basis for good economic awareness is DECISION-MAKING.
Three major resources for ongoing Economics education (for students, parents, and teachers!) are:
- Junior Achievement - 5th and 6th grade attend JA BizTown
- The Federal Reserve (and there's a FREE museum at the St. Louis branch!)
- Hammond Institute for Free Enterprise @ Lindenwood University
US National Debt Clock - there is a lot that can be said about this data, many terms that can he researched & explored.
