About Mrs. Peretz

Hello! I’m so happy to be back with everyone for 3rd grade!

I grew up in St. Louis and attended St. Clement grade school, then St. Joseph’s Academy. I went to Mizzou for college where I earned a BS in Elementary Education. After graduation, I taught third grade at Mason Ridge from 1998-2002. During that time, I earned an MEd from Lindenwood in Elementary Education. After I met my husband, I moved to Louisville, KY, and taught at Buckner Elementary for 2 years until the birth of my first child.

Fast forward many years…my family moved back to St. Louis and SGM became very important to us as we signed our oldest boy up for kindergarten! I became very involved as a parent and finally, they started paying me to show up! I was a part time aide in Kindergarten for a year, full time second grade aide for 2 years, and now I’m loving teaching third grade.

My husband Mike and I have three kids. Our oldest son John is a sophomore at Truman State University, Mattie is a senior at SLUH, and Caroline is a freshman at Nerinx.
