About Me

Hello! My name is Amanda Knauer and I am very excited to be the 5B teacher at SGM. This is my fifteenth year of teaching. This is my fourth year teaching at SGM. I live in Town & Country with my husband and two daughters, Amelia and Lorelei. I am certified as a Missouri Elementary Education teacher grades 1-6 and Religious Ed certified through the Archdiocese.  I have been a part of Catholic education throughout my entire life.  I am a graduate of Saint Raphael, Nerinx Hall, and Rockhurst University.  Teaching children about faith, loving God, and finding God in all things are some of my favorite reasons for being a Catholic school educator. This year, I will be teaching 5B Religion, Reading, and Spelling as well as Math and Science to both classes.  I am looking forward to sharing my love of learning with the students at SGM this year!
