📚Reading is Power SGGS is participating in Reading is Power, a reading program sponsored by the Norfolk Tides. Reading logs have been passed out to students. All participating students must return a completed reading log by March 31, 2026. The hard copy or a digital copy will suffice. Reading logs will not be accepted after that date.Â
Book Fair Your students should have come home this week with their Book Fair Wishlists. Have students bring their wish lists (with item choices highlighted or circled) and payment to the Book Fair next week. We strongly encourage the use of E-Wallets. 🎨SGGS Student Art Show Our annual SGGS Student Art Show is coming soon. This year’s theme is Anchored in Hope and will be presented as a hybrid exhibition. The virtual gallery will be available from April 27 through May 6, and the in-person art show will take place on Monday, May 4 from 3:00–5:30 PM in the school gym. Families will enjoy professionally framed student artwork, interactive art making stations, guest vendors, live music, and more as we celebrate our student artists and help support the art program.Â
