The Fort Edward Union Free School District and South Glens Falls School Central District began discussing the possibility of a merger in 2019 as Fort Edward began to seek solutions to its structural deficit. Below is a review of the events that led to the formation of the Merger Study Committee.
Interviews took place with candidates that responded to the RFP to conduct a full merger study.
Castillo & Silky Education Consultants LLC were chosen to conduct the merger study.
