Search Engines

Believe it or not, there are search engines other than Google.  Take a chance and try one or two of those list below.

Sweet Search "enables [students] to determine the most relevant results from a list of credible resources, and makes it much easier for them to find primary sources".

DuckDuckGo  "The search engine that doesn't track you". Have you noticed how Google provides you with ads for items you've searched for long after your search is over? Well, DuckDuckGo doesn't do that!

WolframAlpha is a different kind of search engines that provides you with computations, statistics and analysis of a large amounts of information and data.

The Internet Archive Wayback Machine attempts to archive all information digitally. They say, "Our mission is to provide Universal Access to All Knowledge".


Bing is Microsoft's search engine.
