Ashlynn Fisher
Ashlyn is a true talent in art and design. She has a very mature ability to conceptualize her ideas at a high artistic level. She understands form, value and color very well which allows her to create exceptional artwork. She is highly skilled for her age. It will be exciting to watch her develop as an artist. Besides her amazing talent. Ashlyn is a fantastic person. She is kind, funny and compassionate towards others. It's a pleasure to have Ashlyn in my classes.

Kharina Rosa
Kharina has worked incredibly hard to perform at a high level in English; often staying after school for additional help, actively engaging in class discussions and proving to be a resource to other students in the classroom. She asks insightful questions during class and is thoughtful in her responses. She has shown tremendous growth and improvement in her writing abilities, turning in the highest scoring essay on The American Dream unit. Kharina has turned in every assignment on time this quarter. She is not afraid to take chances within the classroom and seeks feedback to improve on her own. Kharina is making great connections and I can see her utilizing her academic skills in class to other content areas. She is a pleasure to teach and I look forward every day to her smile and positivity when she walks into the room.

Ella is an extremely considerate and motivated student that always pays specific attention to detail, has maintained a 100 average, and has often been observed helping out other students who may be struggling. Ella is an all around math rock star!

Thatcher Kaye
Thatcher is a dedicated musician and seated first chair in the cello section of the high school Chamber Orchestra, as well as the high school orchestra. He has participated at the NYSSMA Festivals where he has received high achievement for his performances. Recently, Thatcher represented the Scotia-Glenville High School orchestra as he was a participant at Area- All State which is a prestigious orchestra. He is a great asset to our music program.

Logan Linck
Logan goes above and beyond in PE class. He is always prepared to participate and gives great effort in any activity we are doing. He is quick to jump in to include other students and is a role model when it comes to sportsmanship. He also topped the fall PE mile times with a 4:56 effort. Great job Logan!

Chidi is always willing to work the jobs he is assigned. He is eager to learn new skills every time. He is respectful, polite, listens well, and is a good leader. He is always willing to help other students, during a job, if they are unsure of what is expected. Chidi works well with everyone and is a pleasure to work with.

Alannah has maintained a 100 average in AP Biology for the first quarter. She has routinely spent extra time after school studying and even completed a bonus project where she crafted a cell organelle model and game. Alannah consistently exceeds expectations in AP Biology.

Jillian has been an excellent AP Econ student. She not only masters the material, she is willing to work with her peers. This has helped to create a positive learning environment for students to solve problems collaboratively while helping each other understand difficult topics.

Brendan Pedone
Brendan consistently demonstrates an interest in Technology and is responsible when in the classroom and shop. He seeks additional assistance and time in the shop to work through difficult stages of their group project and helped lead his team project to reach their goals more efficiently. He has also shown leadership by assisting other students with new concepts when introduced. We are proud to nominate Brendan for this award and look forward to continued growth and work with him.
