Yearbook
SGHS TIMBERLINE YEARBOOK
A yearbook, also known as an annual, is a book published annually recording, highlighting, and commemorating the events of the school year. High school yearbooks generally cover a wide variety of topics from academics, student life, sports, clubs, and other school, community, and current events. Generally, each student is pictured with their class, while seniors might get a slightly larger photo than the underclassmen to reflect their status in the school. Each school organization, such as a sports team or academic/social club, is usually pictured. Your Sheepherder Publications staff is always looking for great pictures to use in the yearbook.
Share Your Photos
If you have some cool pictures of you and your friends having fun—please send them to journalism@sgchs.com . Please include your name and identify anyone else in the picture with you. It also helps if you include a brief summary of where the picture was taken, what date, and what you were doing.
You can also submit directly to the yearbook program by clicking here and using our school code of herders1.
You can also download the photo sharing Hjeshare app to your phone and share them from your phone.

Submitting Senior Portraits
There are two ways to submit your photos to the yearbook. The first is to use the Herff Jones Eshare app and use our school code of herders1. Click on the portrait instead of the candid link in eshare and submit your photo. There is a video link above that walks you through submitting portraits on eshare. The other option is listed below and your digital pictures can be submitted by email to journalism@sgchs.com.
Please have your professional photographer or yourself submit your senior picture following these instructions:
Photos must be submitted in a digital format by email to journalism@sgchs.com. The digital image must be no smaller than 4×6 inches and 300 dpi. The preferred size is 5×7 at 300 dpi. When in doubt, send the original file. They must be saved as lastnamefirstname. For example, Anna Smith would be Smithanna. Photos taken on a cell phone are NOT high enough resolution and may be denied for print.
The Image must be good clarity and detail. The Image should be made from the original digital image or negative.
Scanned images from photographs may not be accepted due to loss of quality in the scanning process.
Dress should be appropriate attire; standard school dress is suggested.
We need two photos, one landscape, and one portrait. One should be the senior picture you want and the other can be a childhood/baby photo.
Photos that do not adhere to these standards may be cut from the yearbook. The student’s school photo will be substituted if the requirements are not met or if we do not receive a photo by the deadline.
Notice:
