Welcome to Pre-k 4!
Week of 12/1- Letter: G/g
Each year our class compiles special family recipes and together as a class we create our "Classroom Christmas Cookbook", which the children will gift you before Christmas break. We are asking if each family could send me one favorite holiday recipe that you don't mind sharing with the class. It will be put in the book exactly how you send it to me, so double check it if you can! :) We are asking all recipes be emailed to me by December 5th
.

Cozy Bin:
We have purchased some "emergency" mittens and gloves for the winter. With the cold weather approaching and busy mornings- children often will tell us they are missing gloves. As long as it isn't raining, we will be going outside! We have purchased a few extras to keep on hand. If your child comes home with a new labeled pair of gloves- no need to return :) consider it an extra pair!
Labeling:
Please label ALL outerwear, including gray gym sweatshirt. We have been seeing a lot of unlabeled clothing and although the kids hang the sweatshirts in cubbies when not in use, we always have a few get mixed up. It makes it really hard for the kids when packing up each afternoon. If we do have unlabeled sweatshirts and we happen to see, we will put a little piece of tape with their names written on it so we can tell the difference during the day!
Wishlist:
We are looking for donations of Lysol spray
BIRTHDAYS!
We love celebrating birthdays! Please note, ANY food items brought in for birthdays must be store bought, peanut free, and labeled "made in a peanut/tree nut free facility." You may also bring in a craft for the class to do, goodie bags to be sent home, non food items, etc. You MUST email me a photo of what you are bringing in, with the nutritional label at least 48 hours prior to celebrating. I will then email the photo to all families, so families can opt their child out if they prefer/need. THANK YOU for your cooperation!
