Mr. Helmenstine took over Journalism and Yearbook from the great Bob Knox in 2015. We transitioned from print (Penguin Press) to Penguin Broadcasting on YouTube. We also have Instagram and TikTok accounts.

Marina Middle School is the greatest middle school in Sf, while not in rating, in community. Everyday we have amazing activities and goals to accomplish, with the best staff to support it. The Marina community not only offers a wide range of activities, they provide a safe haven for all. No one is, or will be judged based on ethnicity, sexuality (orientation), race, or beliefs. Many people call this place a second home, where they feel completely safe.
