The San Francisco Public Library (SFPL) offers access to some of the region’s important news sources - New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Los Angeles Times and Washington Post. Searchable databases of these publications are available through the public library as well as 72-hour access to the New York Times. In order to access these resources, one must have an SFPL library card, specifically the 14-digit account number and the accompanying 4-digit PIN that is assigned.
For your convenience, there are three ways to access the most current edition of The New York Times:
The New York Times - 72-hour Remote Access (See below for step-by-step instructions.)
The New York Times - Replica Version (PressReader) ← easiest access method
The New York Times - Text-only database - East Coast Late Edition (ProQuest)
