Step 1: Invite each classroom teacher to encourage their students to submit a happy hydration work of art to receive a H20 sticker!
Step 2: Have each classroom teacher select the best art piece (1) that represents their class and submit it to your school's Health Advocate
Step 3: Have a governing body (i.e student government members, PTA, family liaison, and or faculty meeting members) select the best art piece to represent the school - That student will win $25!
Step 4: Health Advocates please submit your school's Top Entry to Karen Tiu by May 2nd, 2025.
Eligibility:
Open to all students from TK-5th grade in San Francisco Unified School District
Size Requirements:
Art pieces must be between 8.5" x 11" (Standard size) and 11" x 17"
Artwork Creation:
Students may use any materials to design and create their art, including hand-drawn, painted, or digital formats. Artwork must meet size requirements.
Theme/ Content:
Artwork should highlight the importance of drinking water and staying hydrated. Students are encouraged to include fun facts, hydration benefits, or creative messages promoting water consumption in their designs.
Submission:
Art piece (1) must be submitted by your classroom teacher to your Health Advocate by May 2nd!
Judging Criteria:
Artwork will be evaluated by our Student Nutrition Advocacy Crew Kids (SNACK Club) and the Student Health Advisory Board (SHAB) on...

District-Level Judging: Student Leadership Clubs will review all top entries and select district-level winners.
Winner Announcement: District winners will be announced by May 23, 2025.
Prize Distribution: Prizes will be delivered to each school after winners have been selected.
MUNI Posters: Find Grand-Prize winners on MUNI buses beginning September 2025!
