AAPAC stands for African American Parent Advisory Council. For many that sounds super fancy and formal. Flynn's AAPAC is a space for parents/guardians of Black children to come together in a safe space to talk about any concerns/ wins regarding their child's education and build community.
I want all parents/guardians and their children to feel empowered to advocate for the best education for their students with teachers and school admin.
We meet every second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm via Zoom. Please click the button below to join our growing community.
Quick intro. My name is AJ & I'm the Family Engagement Coordinator for African American/Black families. I am also a Flynn Parent.
In my role I help support the school in facilitating the AAPAC Parent support group as well as support parents with any questions and concerns they have in regards to Distance Learning and educating Black children as a whole.
