2020 Summer Institute

Part of CS4SF, a collaborative project between San Francisco State University and the San Francisco Unified School District

Welcome to the 2020 San Francisco Computer Science Summer Institute. The Summer Institute is for Computer Science Supplementary Authorization students and aims to address the challenges of teaching computer science to all students.

The course, CSC 699: Computational Thinking and Pedagogical Strategies, will:

    • serve as an introduction to Computer Science,

    • introduce culturally relevant, student-centered pedagogy for teaching Computer Science in the SFUSD classroom

    • be a collaborative and supportive community with other teachers
