Summer Institute

Welcome to the 2019 San Francisco Computer Science Summer Institute. The Summer Institute is part of CS4SF, a collaborative project between San Francisco State University and the San Francisco Unified School District to address the challenges of teaching computer science to all students.

The 2019 Summer Institute is designed to deliver professional development that supports teachers in developing:

• • a collaborative and supportive community with other teachers

  • strong computer science content knowledge

  • culturally relevant, student-centered pedagogy

  • high level of self-efficacy
