On January 16, a group of San Franciscans with the Muni Now, Muni Forever campaign visited City Hall to talk to Mayor Lurie and each member of the Board of Supervisors about the importance of funding Muni without harmful service cuts. We were able to talk directly with staff or supervisors from almost every supervisorial district, but we were turned away from talking directly with anyone on the Mayor's team. At each office, we dropped off a letter to introduce the issue. Below is the version of the letter that we submitted to Mayor Lurie.
