School Notes and Updates

Thank you for completing an eForm on the SkoolBag App for our Welcome BBQ scheduled to take place tomorrow, Friday 5 February 2021.

Based on current Government advice received regarding COVID-19, it is with regret that our Welcome BBQ will need to be postponed until a later date.

We were very much looking forward to welcoming and meeting our new families to our school community but we do look forward to having this opportunity with you in the near future.

Our Literacy and Numeracy Assessments will be held on the Grade Prep rest days for the next 3 weeks, namely Wednesday 10 February, Wednesday 17 February and Wednesday 24 February.

Assessments will run all day from 8:30am to 3:30pm and will go for 45 minutes. These assessments are for teachers to gather literacy and numeracy data on your child so that they can meet each student's individual needs.

Beginning of the year assessments assists SFdS to ensure your child gets the very best start in their new school year.

Unfortunately SkoolBag have only just gone across to a new administration console platform and until further notice we are unable to email SkoolBag App invites via the App.

Unfortunately due to changes made by Catholic Education Melbourne to term dates, the term dates listed on the SFdS Fridge Magnet provided at the time of Enrolment are no longer accurate. We apologise for any confusion this change may have caused.

reduce reuse recycle - May we suggest to avoid confusion, that you cut the term dates section from the magnet and retain the lower section of the magnet with the school's contact details on your fridge.
