After educational training and a required number of shadow shifts with a Night Minister, you will be able to serve freely, ministering on the streets and/or creating special projects.
NOTE: SFNM is excited to work with either individual volunteer Ambassadors or an "Ambassador Cohort." In general, we are seeking out four or five volunteer spiritually-minded professionals who might be looking to gain experience, get needed clinical hours, add to their resumes or just try out street ministry by developing and executing street chaplaincy in line with the mission and values of SFNM. After a training period, the commitment would be five months and100 hours (at approximately 20 hours a month). This is a highly creative and collaborative position that the volunteer would co-create alongside the Director of Night Ministries, Shelly Webb, and the SFNM team.
