Special GWHS Events

Oct. 8, 2025 - Career Day

10:00am - 12:30pm. Your opportunity to share insights and info about your profession to GWHS students. All professions welcome! Participants will be at assigned tables on the Esplanade to talk and answer questions, show displays, and give handouts—no electricity, no laptop presentations! Sign up by Sep. 30 here.

Oct. 18, 2025 - 37th Annual S.F. Old Car Picnic

Speedway Meadow (Hellman Hollow), Golden Gate Park. Registration (benefits programs for the developmentally disabled) for 1999 or older cars & trucks $40, motorcycles $20, bicycles $10. Spectators free. Beware individuals on Facebook claiming to accept registrations, only deal with their site.

The GWHSAA provides reunion coordination guidelines, venue information and best practices. It assists with locating classmates and event promotion and, with a committee’s consent, attends to take photos, meet alumni and encourage greater participation.
