Virtual Learning Parent Letter
SFdS First Grade Goes Virtual!
Hello Parents and Students,
We are both excited and curious to embark on this new adventure of virtual learning from our brick-and-mortar classroom to your homes. The first grade team wants to commend each parent for their future efforts to keep learning alive in their homes in this new way! We hope to be a resource for you these coming weeks and pray that our technology guidelines are clear so learning is accessible at home. Below you will find the steps needed to complete daily assignments for your child’s Math and English Language Arts (ELA) lessons online. All passwords to these accounts can be found on the front page of your child’s planner or from a letter sent home. If you need support recovering any of these logins please don’t hesitate to contact your teacher.
We will have 2 main sources for our virtual school: our First Grade Google Site and 1A/1B Google Classroom Pages
Check the Google Site daily for attendance and lessons
Please check-in before 6 PM each day
When prompted, upload assignments to your homeroom’s Google Classroom

Find the assignment link and view assignment
Click the “+ Add or create” button on the right side to upload assignment file

Daily Reading: Personal stories/ EPIC! app

Students have the ability to access books online through an app named EPIC!
