We have moved all our policies to School Docs which is an online portal where you have instant access to our policy and procedures. See below how to log on:
1. Go to www.schooldocs.co.nz
2. Click Search for your school.
3. Start typing the school’s name and then select it from the dropdown list.
4. Enter the community username and password:

Hero App
This is an easy way to access our school website, report an absence, find contact emails, access KINDO, see what events are coming up and access alerts. Download it and have a go.Go to the App Store on your Apple or Android device and search Hero or click the following link: http://go.linc-ed.com/
Uniform Shop
Orders for Uniform are to be placed via our Kindo shop. Orders are made up every Friday morning and will be sent home once completed with your child. If you require your child to be fitted for a uniform item please email the school office and we will organize this.

School Lunch Orders
We offer Four lunch options each week that can be ordered online.
Place your orders via the Kindo Shop on the school website www.sfds.school.nz or www.mykindo.co.nz by 9am on the day. (8.30am for Pita Pit)
Named orders will be dropped off by 12.30pm on the day and can be collected from the school office.
Please ensure you receive a confirmation of your
order – it can be quite upsetting if a child thinks they are getting a lunch and it doesn’t arrive.
Vietnamese Lunch—every Tuesday A selection of hot and cold Vietnamese food fresh from Kilbirnie
Subway – every Wednesday
A selection of mini or 6-inch subs (ham, salami, beef, turkey and vegetarian). Add a water or a cookie.
Sushi Lunches - every Thursday
Sushi Lunches provide a sushi delivery service every Thursday - order for your child's sushi via
Pita Pit – every Friday
A selection of Pitas (beef, ham, chicken, and veggie), are available plus cookies and water.

Pastoral Care Lunches
If you are able to donate food to the school such as bars, popcorn, snacks, cheese and bread please contact the school office on office@sfds.school.nz
St Francis de Sales House!!!
When each student enters St Francis de Sales school they are placed in a House group. Houses provide the opportunity for senior students to take on leadership roles and give all students a sense of belonging as they support their house. House leaders are elected in term 1 of each year. If you are unsure what house your child/ren belongs too please contact your classroom teacher or the school office!
BARBIER - BLUE HOUSE
Named after Adèle Euphrasie Barbier was a New Zealand Roman Catholic nun, teacher and religious founder. She was born in Caen, France, on 4 January 1829. Adèle Euphrasie Barbier was the founder of Congregation of Our Lady of the Missions
SIENNA - YELLOW HOUSE
Named after Catherine of Siena, a lay member of the Dominican Order, was a mystic, activist, and author who had a great influence on Italian literature and on the Catholic Church. Canonized in 1461, she is also a Doctor of the Church.
AUBERT - GREEN HOUSE
Named after Suzanne Aubert, better known to many by her cleric name Sister Mary Joseph or Mother Aubert, was a Catholic sister who started a home for orphans and the under-privileged in Jerusalem, New Zealand on the Whanganui River in 1885.
AVILA – RED HOUSE
Named after Teresa of Ávila, also called Saint Teresa of Jesus, was a Spanish noblewoman who was called to convent life in the Catholic Church
