WHAT'S IN A NAME?
HELP US CHOOSE ONE FOR OUR NEWEST ARRIVAL
We’re thrilled to introduce the newest member of our Ngā Manu whānau — a cheeky, clever young kea chick who’s already winning hearts (and causing a bit of mischief!).
This curious little character is always watching, learning, and following in his dad’s footsteps — and soon, he’ll have a name that reflects his bold personality.
Our team has come up with a shortlist of three names, and we’d love to hear what you think:
Pākiki – curious, questioning, analytical
Mahira – inquisitive, nosy, always prying
Kaiora – impressive, majestic, awe-inspiring
Head over to our Instagram or Facebook and let us know in the comments which name you think suits him best — and why.
We’ll reveal the final name in time for his birthday
Thanks for being part of the journey — we can’t wait to share more of his antics with you soon!

New Zealand Traveller Declaration
Going overseas for the school holidays? Everyone travelling into New Zealand must complete a New Zealand Traveller Declaration, including returning New Zealand passport holders.
Its FREE and you can do it on the online form or on the NZTD app.
If you’re travelling as a family or group and completing multiple declarations, the NZTD app allows you to copy your travel details into another declaration, making it easier to complete multiple declarations for the same journey. The submitted declarations are then all easy to see within the app.
The New Zealand Traveller Declaration collects travel, customs, immigration and biosecurity information and aims to improve the safety and security of New Zealand. It replaces the paper card you used to fill out on the plane.
To make your arrival easier, do your digital declaration before your flight back to New Zealand.

We are excited to announce we are hosting another Wellington Phoenix Experience camp in Wellington at Fraser Park during the April School holidays. This camp will take place on the 17th & 18th of April between 9am and 3pm and is targeted for children born between 2011 – 2016.
Our Experience Camps provide a unique opportunity for us to engage with young football enthusiasts from diverse communities across New Zealand. It serves as a platform for local talents to interact with Wellington Phoenix Staff, offering from a glimpse into the life of New Zealand’s sole professional football academy. Moreover, it marks the initial step in our talent identification process. Promising players identified during these camps may be invited to join a Discovery Camp later in the year. Additionally, we will be conducting coaching and parent workshops aimed at fostering growth within football communities and bridging the gap between grassroots and academy-level football.
