MISSION FAIR - Thank You for Your Generosity!
We are thrilled to announce that our recent fundraising event was a huge success, thanks to the incredible support from our community.
Our Seniors did an outstanding job, with their stalls full of excitement and fantastic bargains. Special thanks to our senior teachers, Tom, Jemma, and Lauren, for guiding and supporting the students throughout the event. We also want to acknowledge our Year 4, 5, and 6 students, who were exceptional in assisting their junior buddies.
Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised an impressive $2,125!
This year, your donations will make a significant impact in Papua New Guinea. Through Caritas, we are supporting Holy Trinity School, which is in urgent need of essential classroom equipment like desks, chairs, books, and writing materials.
Thank you again to our amazing community for your kindness and commitment to helping others.

MESSAGE FROM KINDO RE LUNCH ORDERS
We have had an issue recently regarding users not being able to order lunches via the kindo app on phones. We suspect that this is caused by the device cache and want to ask you to please follow the below steps to clear your cache which we are confident will resolve the issue.
Please can you action the below steps on device and notify us if this has or has not resolved the issue.
iOS – iphone instructions
What is cache?
Cache is the temporary storage of some data, like parts of a website from the last time you visited it, for example. Browser cache is content from a website that is stored on your phone during a browser session to help the browser execute faster the next time you visit that page.
Cache data can slow down your phone's overall browsing performance, however, since it takes up storage space on your device, so it's good to clear it out regularly.
What you'll need: Everything you need to clear your browser cache is within the iPhone's settings app or the Safari app, so grab your iPhone to get started.
1. To delete Safari's cached data, open the Settings app on your iPhone. You can also do this directly in the Safari app, but we'll show the process of getting an empty browser cache through iPhone Settings because this gives you more options.
2. Within Settings, scroll down the list of options and apps until Safari comes up, then tap on it to access its settings.
3. To clear the app cache, scroll down through the Safari options, until you find an option for Clear History and Website Data. Tap on it to get started clearing Safari's cache.
4. A pop-up will appear; tap Clear History to confirm you want to delete Safari's browsing history and cache.
After confirming, the browser cache and cookies in Safari will be deleted from your iPhone, but your autofill information should still be on your device. Cached images and browser history will also be deleted, and you'll be logged out of any websites you were previously logged into.
Your iPhone gives you the option to close all your open tabs or keep them open for when you reopen Safari, a feature that wasn't available until recently.
Here is the info for other chrome users -

Book Club goes Online
Scholastic offers a great range of kids books through a bi-monthly catalogue.
Purchases made from the Bookclub result in a free bonus dollars being credited to the school. In the past this has totalled up to $400 in a year, all of which is spent on purchasing new books for our school library.
Rather than the physical Book Club leaflets going home, we have decided to go digital. When a new Book Club edition comes out we will notify parents through the school newsletter.
To browse the latest issues- 1 and 2- go to the Book Club website at https://www.scholastic.co.nz/parents/lucky-book-club/
To place an order, create a login on the Loop App, select our school and your child's class and select your choices.

Organised by the PSL, we ask students to bring chocolate Easter eggs or treats to school to make up prizes for the Easter raffle.
This year, the class that collects the most Easter treats will get to have a movie afternoon at school!!
From Monday 4 March, boxes will be in the school foyer, outside the office, where students can place their eggs and treats.
Each box will have a photo and mural of the class name for you to place your contributions in.
The eggs are counted each day and a tally is kept. The number of egg points will be
divided by the number of children in that class to keep it fair for those classes which
have a smaller number of children.
Collection closes on Friday, 15 March.
All contributions will be made up into gift bags that become raffle prizes for the PSL Easter raffle.
So start collecting your Easter treats and bring them to school.
Many thanks
PSL Committee

GARDEN TO TABLE - URGENT HELP NEEDED PLEASE
At the end of 2023, we sought support for continuation of our Garden to Table (https://gardentotable.org.nz/) programme. To date, we have received no offers of to lead this programme. Unfortunately this may lead us discontinuing the programme, as we are not able to sustain it without a volunteer to lead. We have a teacher who helps to coordinate, and we have had some interest from parents in helping out, so you would not be on your own. Please contact the office team if you could help us. Thank you.
