And Noteworthy at St. Francis of Assisi

Parish Picnic

Sunday, August 23rd, after 10am Mass.

SAVE THE DATE!

Holy Mass at 10am (Mass will be outdoors, open to all, and will be the only Mass available that weekend)

Picnic starts right after Mass. The entire event will be held outdoors, on our church premises.

What to eat? The Knights of Columbus will offer hotdogs and burgers, water and lemonade. Parishioners can bring their own side dishes (not for sharing due to COVID19 precautions).

For the kids? We'll have games set up for kids of all ages.

Safety Precautions: As mentioned above, the whole event will be held outside. We will encourage wearing masks (except while eating), and social distancing.

This event is open to all parishioners and your guests! Bring your friends!

During the summer, many of you journey far and near for vacations. The Rite of Christian Initiations of Adults (RCIA) is a journey too – of faith. RCIA is the process by which persons who were never baptized, or were baptized in a non-Catholic denomination, become members of the Church.
