Students had 1 Visual Arts class to create a mini artwork of a turkey, using the art media of their choice. Each turkey artwork would compete in the Turkey Artwork Beauty Pageant for the chance to earn the artist a little prize. Here are just some of the beautiful turkeys created!

Each year Ms. Dingle manages the Peace Poster Art Contest with the Lions Club. Members from the Seymour Lions Club come visit SMS to view all the artworks, and select 4 winners. The Grand Prize winner is then taken to continue on to the next level of the contest.
