The following is a list of Local Paper Scholarships:
VERY IMPORTANT: Please submit ALL scholarships to the High School Office. That way they can be proofread and transcripts, GPA and other information added before submitted or mailed. Thank you :)

Stanley Farms FFA Scholarship

KENNETH DALE MORRIS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP: Due March 15, 2024
$2,000.00 scholarship
Preference given to a student attending a trade or vocational school (i.e. OTC, Missouri Welding Institute, Crowder College, Ozarks Technical Community College, etc).
The Seymour Bank Scholarship: Due March 15, 2024
Two $500.00 scholarships available.
2.5 GPA and/or ACT Score of at least a 20.
Leadership, work experience, and financial need.
Hazelwood Lodge Scholarship: Due March 15, 2024
One $1,000.00 scholarship available
2.5 GPA
Hazelwood Lodge affiliation preferred
SHS Good Citizen Scholarship (Sponsored by Bunch's Construction & Remodel): Due March 15, 2024
One $500.00 scholarship available.

Community Christian 25 Cent Store Scholarship: Due March 15, 2024
Must have a 2.5 G.P.A., good citizenship and good record of attendance.
Brenda Woods Memorial Scholarship: Due March 15, 2024
$1,000.00 scholarship.
Planning to attend a four-year college/university or a two-year junior college.
Preference given towards a student seeking a degree in Education.
Minimum of a 2.5 GPA required.
Leadership, work/volunteer experience, and financial need.
MSTA (Missouri State Teachers Associations) Scholarship: Due March 15, 2024
Two $250.00 scholarships available.
Preference given to a student wanting to pursue a career in education.
Seymour Lion's Club Scholarship: Due March 15, 2024
$750.00 scholarship available.
Shelter Insurance Scholarship: Due March 15, 2024
(1) 1500 Scholarship will be awarded
Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the applicant's scholastic achievement, participation and leadership in school and community activities, citizenship, moral character, educational goals and financial need.
Se-Ma-No Electric Co-Op Scholarship: Due April 2, 2024
Must be a Se-Ma-No Electric Coop Customer.
Kyle's Insurance Agency of American Family Insurance Scholarship
$500 scholarship available.
Must be an active FFA member.

ACT Score of 24 or above
Students must be applying to a two or four year accredited college, university or technical training school, majoring in Math/Science or Engineering

Students must be currently enrolled and entering into the final year of a degree program/certificate program at a two or four year accredited college, university or technical training school, majoring in Construction Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, Engineering, Skilled Trades Program, or other Design/Construction related field

Graduating High School Senior from one of the following counties in Missouri (Barry, Barton, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Greene, Jasper, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Polk, Stone, Taney or Webster)
GPA of 2.5 or above; submit transcript
ACT Score of 21 or above
Students must be applying to a two or four year accredited college, university or technical training school, majoring in Agriculture, Natural Resources or related field as aligned with the Southwest Missouri Resource Conservation & Development Councils mission
