The Seymour Middle and High School Theater Department, part of the Seymour Community School District in Seymour, WI, is dedicated to creating a collaborative learning environment for students interested in performing arts. We offer theater classes, play productions, and musical productions throughout the school year for students.
OUR MISSION
While providing a challenging, nurturing, and safe environment, the Seymour Middle and High School Theater Department encourages creatively-minded students who are interested in acting, improv, technical theater, music, and fine arts to learn and grow their interests and skills.
OUR VISION
We envision a theater department where:
The focus is on the collaborative process of acting, technical theater, and musical theater.
Students feel safe, valued, and respected.
Theatrical opportunities and facilities are designed to maximize student learning for acting, dancing, singing, and technical set implementation.
Students are provided opportunities beyond the classroom to grow and develop as actors, singers, and technicians.
All students gain an appreciation for theater, musical theater, and fine arts.
