We will again ask all Scouts BSA, Venturing, and designated Cub Scout Packs to create a public-facing display that demonstrates a Scout skill or activity. The displays should engage the scouts and the public, and be hands-on if possible. Units are expected to encourage participation from the Scouts and Scouters attending, along with the general public but those units choosing to do cooking demonstrations are prohibited from giving out samples.

There are 2 kinds registration: BSA Registration and Event Registration.

BSA Registration. Effective Sept. 1, 2023, all adults staying overnight in connection with a Scouting activity must be BSA registered as an adult volunteer or an adult program participant. Cub Scout parents or legal guardians taking part in an overnight Cub Scout program with their own child or legal ward are not required to BSA register as leaders. This is called the Cub Scout overnight exception.

A BSA unregistered parent or legal guardian must be accompanied by a BSA registered leader any time they are with youth members other than their own child or ward. Any other adult that wishes to camp at a BSA event — no matter the age of the youth at the event — must register as a member of the BSA.

Event Registration. BSA Registered youth and adults and "Cub Scout overnight exception" parents who want to attend the private event are asked to register and pay for the event through the Council Website. A wristband is provided for all Event Registered attendees so they can take part in the private event.
